SecondChapter is a community of adults. These guidelines are short on purpose.

Be respectful

Disagree kindly. Treat people the way you'd like to be treated over coffee.

Be genuine

Use your real name and photo. No impersonation or fake identities.

Respect someone's decision

If someone chooses not to connect or reply, let it be. Persistent unwanted contact isn't okay.

Romance is fine — pressure isn't

Relationships between consenting adults happen. Explicit messages without consent, persistent advances or harassment after a no do not.

No scams or financial exploitation

Don't ask members for money, investments or payments.

Keep it personal, not commercial

Personal profiles aren't for prospecting. Mass outreach by agents, advisers or service businesses isn't allowed.

No hate, threats or harassment

Zero tolerance for abuse based on who someone is.

No spam

No repeated identical messages, link-dropping or mass requests.

Respect privacy

Don't share other members' details or conversations without permission.
